Marysvale, Utah

Today was a travel day.  We drove about 150 miles and it took about 4 hours.  Lots of up and downs through mesas and canyons.  The scenery was once again outstanding.

We’re staying at South-Forty RV Park in Marysvale.  It’s a relatively new campground with 75 full hook-up sites.  The cost for a 30 amp site was $28 a night plus tax.  All the sites are gravel with a few small trees.  The place is very well maintained and they have free wi-fi.  There are only two units here today.

This part of Utah has many off-road trails and that’s why many people camp here.  We’re here to visit Capitol Reef and Bryce Canyon National Parks.  The weather is still in the 70s during the day and the 40s at night.  We’ve had an absolutely beautiful fall.

This is the view out of our back window.  There’s snow on those mountains.  I hope the weather holds out a little longer.

These are two birds we saw in Canyonlands yesterday.  I think the blue one is Mountain Bluebird.  The black one is a Raven.  They are quite brave and very vocal!
