You want to try the Willow Loop just north of Fredericksburg. You are allowed to drive (but not get out and walk as there are cattle) through the ranchlands and they are usually spectacular there if it is a decent year.TravelingLongdogshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07562207397650862936noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6937272310789395278.post-55583546095205296022013-03-15T13:15:41.117-05:002013-03-15T13:15:41.117-05:00How big are those beer glasses? We didn't get to see the wildflowers bloom either. If you get a chance, the LBJ ranch is worth the tour. Its a state park so I hope its open for you.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17263191567454481794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6937272310789395278.post-21742612527231566382013-03-14T13:33:13.251-05:002013-03-14T13:33:13.251-05:00P.S. According to the Volksmarch group think.

Wildflowers are late? Nooooo. My Mom and sister will be here starting Mar. 23. One of the main things I wanted to show them are all the gorgeous wildflowers. I will plan trips to Hill Country for later in the week they're here. We'll do San Antonio and Corpus Christi during the first part of their stay.

TravelBug-Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01974719934652737928noreply@blogger.com
